Rooted in North America and oriented toward global collaboration, the Network brings together graduate students, doctoral candidates, and early-career scholars from a wide range of disciplines, including law, East Asian studies, political science, sociology, anthropology, and history. Our membership includes emerging scholars affiliated with leading institutions such as Stanford University, Princeton University, Yale University, Harvard University, Columbia University, Duke University, Northwestern University, Cornell University, Rice University, Emory University, the University of Oxford, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Renmin University of China, China University of Political Science and Law and many others. The Network has also received sustained support and guidance from senior scholars at these and other prominent academic institutions and professional associations.

 

As a sub-network of the International Association for Law and Interdisciplinary Studies, we promote a range of scholarly initiatives: international conferences, special journal issues, research forums, resource-sharing mechanisms, and cross-border collaborative projects—all with the goal of enhancing the visibility and global impact of Chinese law research.
